About us

We are a non-profit rescue. We started because there is a need for a tortoise rescue in Minnesota. We have been actively taking in tortoises since March 2009. All of our tortoises are vet checked, then placed in quarantine for at least 2 weeks. During that time they can adjust to the proper lighting and diet that they require. For some tortoise this is stressful. After the quarantine period they are placed in their new set ups and observed for another 2 weeks. If they are healthy and happy then they go up for adoption. I can house any size tortoise.
